Animated films for mamagenda.ch
We have created a set of animations for mamagenda.ch that offer a light-hearted point of entry to the issues of pregnancy in the workplace. Mamagenda.ch offers an online set of tools to assist mothers-to-be and their employers, with resources available in German, French and Italian. The short films focus on Magda (a contraction of the organisation’s name) and her colleagues Ernesto, Ivan and Quasimodo, with each episode describing a moment of Magda’s experience during her pregnancy. We developed the characters and storylines in close collaboration with the client and designed the films with a view to making the topics appealing and non-bureaucratic, employing simple pencil line drawings with all sound effects provided by a human voice. The initiative is promoted by Travail.Suisse, OCST with the Support of the Swiss Federal Office for Gender Equality (FOGE).
