The directors Michele Jannuzzi and Richard Smith are authors of the book ‘dotlinepixel’, which outlines our approach and explores some of the issues in the design of digital technology solutions. Loop, The American Institute of Graphic Art’s journal of interaction design, called the book a ‘gem… a wellspring of some of the most innovative thinking and graphic communication anywhere… a timely manifesto for a new century.’

Jannuzzi Smith’s work will feature in the forthcoming exhibition Communicate: Independent British Graphic Design since the Sixties at the Barbican Art Gallery in London. The exhibition charts the emergence of British graphic design of the last 40 years focusing on 100 independent studios. It is curated by Rick Poynor and is open to the public from 16 September 2004 to 23 January 2005.

They have just completed a book with Cecil Balmond, informal, published by Prestel, which has received the highest award from the Stiftung Buchkunst ‘die schönsten deutchen Bücher 2002’ and the prestigious Silver Award from both the Art Directors Club of New York and D&AD, London.
