  • A poster we created to publicise the London launch of John Hilliard, a book funded by the Arts Council of England. We defined an overall editorial structure and designed the book – the first monograph on Hilliard, providing insight into his analytical working practice and, more generally, into the issues of art and photography (the medium in which he works). The quotation we selected for the poster highlights some of the underlying themes.

    To make English and German editions of the book cost-effective, we designed them to be printed concurrently, changing only the black plate in the process. This was achieved while retaining the precise relationship of all images to the text, despite the substantial difference between the lengths of text in the two languages.
