Jannuzzi Smith has created Locarno: seven letters spread out at the entrance of Piazza Grande, from a small A to a giant O. Seven letters that mean everything or nothing, or even just Locarno. It’s the way UBS, a fundamental partner of the Locarno Festival, wanted to celebrate the anniversary. Each letter is a decade of history, infinite ways of thinking and recounting it.
